At Honed Analytics, our team is comprised of experienced professionals with a wide range of expertise in data analytics, process automation, process enhancement and over 8 years of experience in the consulting space, working with companies from large software companies to smaller non-profits. Our Principal Consultant has incredibly deep knowledge on all things data analytics, presenting data to executives, Human Resources and customized process automation via the Power Platform. All consultants have high proficiency in PowerBI.

It is easier on all ends if the data is provided out of a database in .csv, .xlsx, or Google Sheets. If the data is too large to fit in those files, we can have an API retrieve the data! Should any data be stored in word documents, PDFs, or any other non-tabular, atypical data collection formats, we can convert it into the proper format.

After the data is collected, we can provide the insights back to you in your preferred application of Excel, PowerPoint/Google Slides, and/or PowerBI.

  Currently, we only work with clients who have Azure/Active Directory and Office/Microsoft 365 E3 (specifically Microsoft Forms & SharePoint/Microsoft Lists and Power Automate). Office/Microsoft 365 E5 is a nice add if you want reports in PowerBI, but the same can be done in excel with some limitations.

  We follow a typical project management timeline. The first step is discovery sessions to make sure that we can build the system correctly from the start. Subsequently we do the build, followed by testing at key completion milestones. Lastly, we do implementation paired with both documentation of the process and training materials for key end users where applicable. Depending on the solution and the level of customization the client would like, time can vary greatly between 1 week to 2 months.
